Mid-year resolutions.. yes they are in need
1. Become a nicer person and stop getting angry at everything.
2. Stop being spontaneous, stop being apathetic, stop being me basically. be responsible with money, with school, with clothes, at parties.
3. Start driving
4. Save for Australia. Is this a good idea if i ditch sixth form after 1year and go travelling? After all i will be 18..

Why being 17 sucks dick
1. You are in limbo; there is no logic in being able to get married, but not being legal to drink.
2. You can never have a secret someone won't tell.
3. Facebook becomes a noted addiction and it is too easy to send 300 texts in a week.
4. You are on the most minimum wage, working 8 hours a week yet your parents expect you to pay your way through everything.
5. Student cards are bullshit.
6. Bus fees are ridiculously expensive, but so are cars/driving lessons/petrol.
7. You have about 6 months to decide what to do with your life.

2. Your life plans can change in the space of a week, even if you've had them for 10 years.
3. Life is a bitch. Something will always fuck up, but there is NO POINT wasting time and turning it into a drama.
4. Manners are free. So is politeness. So is courtesy.
5. The reason why people bitch is to get a quick reaction, and a quick 10 seconds of limelight. Why bother hating nonsensically? Karma exists. So decide.

familiar faces
this last year has been hard, to say the least. i don't think i would change one thing. i am strong now. i look in the mirror and don't even recognise the face that a couple of months ago would have been streamed with tears and waked over by people she 'loved'now i am happy. kind of. i have my ups and downs like everyone else. and im still on my merry pills to probably prevent me from popping my own clogs. but im getting there.
